The COSTCO Connection

Seasonal, Local, Fresh, Ripe and Raw

That’s the name of the magazine put out by COSTCO. The June issue has an article by Dr. Bill Sears (www.askdrsears.com). He is one of the top pediatricians in the country. They put him in their magazine of advertisements because he designed a snack that they sell.

I bring it to your attention because in his article he shares an important point to remember: namely that kids have smaller stomachs than you do; and he offers a helpful guide. He calls it The Rule of Twos: Eat twice as often; eat half as much; chew twice as long.

I also bring it to your attention because he is one of the earliest adopters of our favorite nutritional products and is now one of the more prominent advocates and promoters. We have featured him several times in our Wellness Presentations and highly recommend his books and DVDs.

Dr. Sears has also done a wonderful series of YouTube videos which might be of interest to you if you have children or want to help a child you know.

We have him on CD and DVD if you are interested.

And by the way, Dr. Jim Sears of The Doctor’s is Dr. Bill’s son… in case you wondered.

In Health,

DrD
