“Workers whose first health care visit for the injury was to a chiropractor had substantially better outcomes.”

That’s a quote from a Study published in 2008 in the journal Spine.

“This is the largest prospective, population-based study to date of the risk factors for chronic work disability identified early after back injury from a large number of potential risk factors in multiple domains, assessed from multiple sources.”

So the object of the Study was “To identify early predictors of chronic work disability after work-related back injury.”

And something else that you have heard me say here a time or two…

“… low back pain is the most prevalent and costly disabling work-related condition,…”

There is a lot more in the Study that providers can learn from. I think it’s worth repeating that “Workers whose first health care visit for the injury was to a chiropractor had substantially better outcomes.”
