Vaccines Again: Cause & Effect

Fighting disease or promoting health, again…

I like to reframe these cause and effect conversations in the hope that it will promote thought on the subjects. The decisions are big. And I know you won’t see it on CNN or the Fox channels.

And it spans all the various subjects of this Blog, from bending and lifting as it relates to back pain, to green drinks and garlic soup.

(And lest you think that I think that I have all the answers, take a look at the title of the book in the picture. It’s a classic illustration (the book, not the title) of an inconvenient truth: the more you do know about something about something the more you come to realize that we really know very little about anything. In this book, the author, a smart science guy, points out that even when it comes to water there are some very basic questions for which we have no answers. Questions that you and I would assume, probably, have already been taken care of. We don’t even understand water! So it’s not about having all the answers; it’s about having better information so we can make more informed, more conscious, choices. And it’s about observing the results of ours and other’s choices so we can course-correct (if it isn’t too late).
