Unidentified Respiratory Virus Action Plan

Here is an article about the new virus that’s sweeping the country, now identified as (probably) enterovirus 68.

The critical care Pediatric physician that they interviewed for the article recommended that people have a game plan. The recommended moves were to wash hands, stay away from sick people, and cover mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing.

Children are the target – for the virus and now for the medical establishment. There’s a good chance that a big push for vaccination will come soon.

Here is an alternative suggestion: Get healthy!

Help increase your child’s resistance by taking them to the Chiropractor and getting them adjusted.

Improve their diet with more fruits and vegetables, even if you have to disguise them as candy. Yesterday’s news on the radio was that 9 out of 10 kids are getting too much salt in their school lunches.

Feed the kids better water. Last weeks news was that water bottles are contaminated with bacteria and nastiness that no one benefits from. A side benefit of the Kangen Water machines is that they produce highly acidic water that will sterilize a water bottle in less than 30 seconds, killing every bug known to man (except one, that takes just a little longer).

If your child needs First Aid, get First Aid, but let’s not keep pretending that that is health care. Unless you think that washing hands, avoiding the (obviously) sick, and covering your mouth is really a serious action plan.
