… for business.
“Every year, asthma is responsible for 14.2 million physician office visits, 1.8 million emergency-department visits, 439,000 hospital stays and more than 3,500 deaths.” So business is already pretty good.
What would you do to make sure those numbers went up… if that was good for business?
“… a drug that increases the risk of asthma in children by two, three and five times (depending on the frequency of use) continues to be sold and prescribed to parents unaware of the potential hazards.” Yep. That’s what you would do, keep selling drugs that help bump up those other good numbers. Wait! They are not ‘good’.
Think about it. Those numbers are good for a whole lot of people: just not the kids!
Those quotes are from a new article that hasn’t made to the internet yet: when it does I will provide the link.
Meanwhile, it’s not like it is new news: here are prior Posts on that same drug.
