May Is Posture Month… So What?

S0… I will take a break from the 101 Benefits of Exercise this month and tell stories about Posture.

PostureMonth.Org is promoting a number of things through a series of Posters and many will engage their materials and learn a lot. I thought I would review some of their best stuff and offer insights related to what they have decided to focus on. You find it largely a review of issues already raised and discussed here somewhere. I usually don’t make too big of a deal out of it, but May as Posture Month and PostureMonth.Org provides us with an opportunity.

Subjects to be covered include: Awareness, Control, Mindful Movement, Bending & Lifting, Posture Exercise, and Evaluating Posture. So look forward to that throughout the rest of this month. Meanwhile… consider this…

  1. This is awesome! I had neck pain that persisted for over a year that was almost entirely corrected by fixing my posture!
