  2. I trained with Ian Cameron in the 90s, but did a couple of weekend courses with Dan when he visited Paris. I appreciated his no-nonsense style and respected his scholarship in the field. I only recently bought his autobiography, but haven’t yet started reading it. After listening to this from Dan, it’s moved to the top of my list. My condolences to his loved ones.

    • Thank you for the comment. Yes, he will be missed; he has made a huge contribution to the Chinese martial art community that will endure long into the future. He was a great teacher on many levels; and a great person who we are all privileged to have known.

      • P.S. His autobiography is not his best book.
